Mainers will gather at over 100 Watch Parties Across the State to See Barack Obama Accept the Nomination
(AUBURN, MAINE) - On Thursday, August 28, on the 45th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, Mainers will gather at over 100 "Convention Watch Parties" around the Pine Tree State to see Barack Obama accept the Democratic nomination for President. Congressman Mike Michaud will attend a "Watch Party" in Auburn, ME at the home of Joan and Paul Macri. Thursday's "Watch Parties" are free and open to the public.
